Garbage Truck

Wednesday is trash day and is SO over the top exciting for a toddler. Where have I gone wrong that I cannot enjoy the simple things in life...like watching our trash being collected?!?! I have a lot to learn from The Bean. Anyways, after lunch today, I told her the Garbage truck was coming and with a big smile on her face she runs over to the window to get a front row seat. Every time she hops up there and waves to him, deep down I'm praying he will see her and wave back...just to make it THAT much more special for her. But he never sees her....until today. As he glances up and notices her, there is no wave back....JERK! I can't entirely blame him because he was probably thinking "What the heck is this naked baby doing in the window waving at me?!?!" In my defense, she had just ate lunch and is literally a HOG when it comes to eating. I swear more food ends up on her clothes than in her! So it's easier to remove the shirt than spend endless time scrubbing her shirts with cleaner. And what's that you say? Put a bib on that kid? Oh no, those are no no in these parts and have been for quite some time. She'd rather choke herself with the damn thing trying to get it off than wear one....because that would be un-hog-like. Ok back to the point here people....trash day...it's fun.
